In the early 1980's Mary Cox endeavored to collect a few books to begin the organization of a church library. After the death of Mary Cox, Ellen Lankhorst took on the task of total reorganization of our church library and it was named The Mary Cox Memorial Library. The opening day was October 27, 1985. The Library Committee was formed at that time.
The adult library is now located in the Parish Helpers Room and contains many fine books including devotional, inspirational, reference, biography and historical novels. Books in the Mary Cox Memorial Library are learning resources, which serve to promote and teach God's word and message. Videos and tapes are available. Some are videos of past church celebrations and services. The library is open to church members as well as the public and may be visited at any time the church is open. Come in and browse around. Books may be borrowed by removing the card in the back of the book and signing on the clipboard.
The Children's Library is located in the Fellowship Hall and has a computer as well as many books for children of all ages. There are many Bible based programs which children may use on the computer in the library, and there are also videos, which may be taken out.
