Come Worship With Us
Nestled in the historic
district of Wakefield, New
Hampshire—
the section of town known as Wakefield Corner—one finds many
treasures: the old Town Hall (home to the Parish Helpers Treasure
Shop), the cozy Wakefield Inn, the quaint Wakefield Town
Library
(modeled after Columbia University's library), the legendary Little Red
Schoolhouse that is now home to the Wakefield Brookfield Historical
Society, and the house of worship that has become a pillar of the
community— the First Congregational Church of Wakefield.
As much as this local United Church of Christ congregation is nurtured by its rich history and traditions (such as the Parish Helpers, our women's group, that is over 100 years old), it is a forward thinking faith community that is full of energy!
The First Congregational Church is committed to continue the work of Christian service and building ecumenical and covenantal relationships with congregations in its community and beyond so "that they may all be one." We welcome you to join us!
