Caregiver Self-Care Series

Sponsored by the First Congregational Church of Wakefield, UCC, this support group meets the first and third Monday of each month (unless it is a holiday)  at 9:30 a.m.  Each session will take place in the Parish Helpers Room at the church (2718 Wakefield Road).  Masks and social distancing guidelines are followed.

This series of supportive conversations in a confidential setting focuses on the well-being of people caring for others. Open to the public and free of charge, it is hoped that people, coming together in this way, will look anew at their own health and well-being even while caring for a loved one either in the home, in a care community or at a distance. Often, the caregiver’s health and sense of well-being suffers under the demands of care giving.  In case of inclement weather, we will reschedule.  Hoping for sunny skies.  Carol Lundgren, Facilitator.
